Yes, they have a small lot behind the building, off Foster.
No reservations. Is first come first serve. Excellent food. Fresh coffee.
They are epic. Do yourself a favor tho....don't, because they are like weaponized methamphetamine & addiction is guaranteed.
Yes they deliver
Yes we have the full menu available on our web ordering jimmyspizzacafe.weborder.net
I am not sure. But call and ask. I think they might.
It’s a little pricey, but it’s really a different kind of pizza. Haha it’s New York style! The crust is thin, crunchy, and still has a chewiness to it which is good. A side of garlic knots really hits the spot and I tried the 4 cheese style which was frankly mouth watering. This is my second time here and I will be back. Thank you
Best NY style pizza in Chicago IMO, fav slice is the Quattro Funghi
If you like NY style pizza, there's no better place on the North side than Jimmy's.
Lately, I’ve been craving pizza. So, I decided to try the pizza in this pizza pub. I was so shocked by the taste of their pizza. It was so delicious. The cheese was so perfectly melted and the thin crust was so crunchy. The pepperoni flavor they had is a must to try because it was so indeed delicious. Also, the place was so cozy and has a good ambiance. The staves were so accommodating and friendly as well. This pizza pub is my new favorite pizza place from now on.
The first place in two years that has finally satisfied my craving for goodPizza.
Amazing ny style slices at this cozy, local spot. Garlic knots and beignets are amazing as well. It's also super reasonable
I’ve been craving and looking for a New York style pizza, found it and it’s called Jimmys cafe. I even made a 28 mile journey to come and get it! The pizza was PHENOMENAL, the ingredients; tomato sauce, homemade sausage and the best part the CRUNCHY crust was MMMMMM good! Sorry folks for getting ahead of my self lol. Anyways, I really recommend anyone that wants to eat New York style pizza? Give these guys a shot! Won’t be disappointed, hence I can’t wait to make that drive again!!! Unless they want to hook me up? I live in Brookfield 😋
Love the crust and sauce, the cheese was too oily
Amazing pizza flavors. It's not just the usual 2 that everybody has. Just Cheese & Sausage & Cheese. They have veggies on the pizza or an All White pizza with chicken & Spinach and Many others. I try 2 change it because I want something different. They carry hand made salads, Garlic knots. They can sell you a cup of coffee and donut like pockets called Beignets. Covered in powdered sugar. Great place to eat at.
Absolutely amazing food. Very affordable as well. Staff seems nice, and the service is very fast.
This is my favorite place to get a Margherita pizza and I'd argue it's one of the best in the state! This was my second time here and I've been to other locations as well. I love how consistent every visit has been!
This pizza restaurant never fails to provide me a flavorful slice of pizza that I always ordered. The taste of mozzarella was really mouthwatering, and everything else was just perfect. This place is really a nice spot to eat out, especially for those pizza lovers. Thank you so much, everyone! KUDOS!
Legit NYC slices in Chicago? Crazzzzy! But in all seriousness, it's like as if a little pizza joint got picked up from the Big Apple and dropped off on the North side of Chicago. $10 for 2 slices and a pop is a great deal. The crust is light, holds it's weight, and has that classic NYC crispness to it. Toppings are fresh and of great quality. Highly recommended to curb your NYC slice cravings.
It is just the best New York style pizza.
Not a happy camper. Ordered today and was told order would come at 830. No problem, Girlfriend was suppose to leave for work at 9. At 845 I call the restaurant and ask what the deal is. They tell me they're swamped and food hasn't left. Well girlfriend now goes to work hungry, but I understand. They tell me food will leave in about 10 minutes. It's now 10PM, I called again and they basically said 'We were busy, also we're out of the knots you ordered". Yes I was offered cookies instead. But that doesn't replace the fact that my GF went to work hungry, and you're taking over 3 hours to deliver some pizza.
Been living in Illinois for 10 years. I moved from NJ and the number 1 thing I miss is NY style pizza. I can’t stand the deep dish pizza and dominos pizza. I was happy to find Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe. It’s the closet thing to the real deal without actually flying to NY. The crust is beautifully chewy and crunchy and the mozzarella stretches and the sauce is nice and tangy. Definitely will come back. Garlic knots are ok just come for the pizza.
I am a transplant from NY. This is the best pizza in Chicago to represent TRUE New York Style Pizza. Hands down best pizza. Keep it simple 22" Cheese Pie. 5 Stars
Dear Lord - amazing. My daughter and I got slice of cheese and a slice of mushroom pizza. Huge. Thin. Fab crunchy crust. The Beignets for dessert hit the mark too. We added melted Dairy Milk to part of them. Perfection but wonderful without it also.
This Pizza reminds me so much of when I lived in the Bronx when I was a kid. Very SOLID SOLID PIZZA! Great slice! THIS IS PIZZA! Love it!
I thought since they're charging $32 for a pizza it must be pretty good but was totally disappointed. Crust had no flavor, toppings weren't impressive. When I lived in Milwaukee I'd get a MUCH better NY style pizza at Ian's for $16. Dimo's in Chicago is comparable to Ian's and much better than Jimmy's. I don't plan to go back here. Calzone wasn't good either - just filled with ricotta? If you really want good pizza go to Coalfire. It's cheaper than Jimmy's and ten times better! Plus it's cooked in a real coal fire oven, so it has an extra crispy crust and smokey flavor. Can't beat it.
Fantastic New York style pizza in a cozy neighborhood restaurant.Always full of locals dropping by for a slice.Don't forget to try the beignets!
Best Thin Crust pizza in town hands down!!!
The place is gorgeous. Last time I was in this address it was still Cafe Des'Artistes way back when....and it had a very rustic feel. They've made the space very open and modern. Even when it gets full it doesn't feel noisy or crowded because it's so airy.
This place knows how to take care of their customers. Regularly with a friendly approach. The food is affordably priced, constantly delightful and clean.
Really good pizza! Worth the drive!
This place is amazing. Do not miss the garlic knots! My NY raised wife loved it as well. This place will be in our pizza rotation from now on!
I come here several times a month. I've lived in Italy for over a decade and spent time in NYC but this is the one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. They only use the best imported ingredients and there is much care In making the pizza. The crust is a right balance of crispiness and toppings. The Hawaiian pizza is both spicy and sweet ; perfect balance.
Lily was great like always and always gives great recommendations. Meatballs are wonderful everytime
Great NY style pizza. They've even got beignets! Minus one point for not having Pepsi.
Jimmy's Pizza Cafe is one of the few places in the city of Chicago, where a New Yorker will feel at home. Sure, there are specialty places where you can grab a slice of pizza, but this place just about gets classic New York style pizza just right. The best way to go is the "Brooklyn Deal", where you can grab two slices and a medium drink for just 8 bucks. You can't go wrong with Jimmy's Pizza Cafe and if you're not in the mood for Pizza, they've also got some killer Beignets!
Meh...its not bad at all, but you can get so much better.
Love Jimmys Pizza! Unlike other pizza places, they use quality ingredients! You can literally taste the difference with your first bite compared to other places. Plus, I typically find cheese pizza boring, but at Jimmys their cheese pizza Is full of flavor And great texture. Here’s a tip: I recommend pairing their meatballs with their garlic knots- so yummy! Oh yeah and their Caesar salad is so good too. You can tell they freshly grate Parmesan cheese Themselves for their salads which makes a remarkable difference. There’s a reason why this place is always busy!
The best pizza! The crust, sauces, and methods of cooking were quite impressive and satisfying. Besides, I had a great day when I came to visit this restaurant for the first time. All in all, their pizzas were delicious and worth it at a reasonable price. Also, the ambiance was clean and smell great. As a satisfied customer, rating you a 5-stars was the best thing to do. Others must come! You won't be disappointed!
Outstanding NY style crust. As good as any. Fast delivery. You can't go wrong.
Brooklyn deal to go. Two slices and a drink $9.95. Delicious. Great pizza, great garlic knots.
The best NY style slice in Chicago. Hands down. Great customer service.
Was so good!! I didn’t get my garlic knots but next time! Pizza was perfect, great new style. Very excited to try another... is tomorrow too soon to order another pizza?
Great Pizza and Toasted Ravioli! We ate here while on vacation. Nice casual atmosphere with some outdoor seating. Fast service! They have great pizza and toasted ravioli. The staff was really kind and accommodating for they did not fail us with the taste that we expected and to respond to our request quickly. I would definitely come back here again!
Great pizza, great service. The owner is a great, nice guy. Water is on the house. Most important of all - amazing pizza!
Best NY style pizza I have had in Chicago. Probably my most favorite style of pizza. This place tastes like lil corner shops back in Queens and Bronx. The crust is simply amazing. Double down on the truffle funghi
Just ate at Jimmy's for the 1st time. They serve New York style pizza, cut in big pie wedges. I got a single slice of fungi white (i.e. no tomato sauce) pizza with delicious mushrooms (i.e. NOT out of a 5 gallon can). However, the single slices are not freshly made (unless you're lucky), which can make the thin crust NY style a bit soggy.I think the best bet @Jimmy's is to order a whole pizza - then you get it right out of the oven, and you can choose any of their more exotics pies (see their menu). I'll definitely go back to order an entire pizza.
As a native New Yorker, this is THE spot to make me reminisce of grabbing a slice or two from my local place(s) back on Long Island. Plus they're one of the few places in Chicago that has garlic knots!
This place has the best pizza in the city. It's exactly like slices I grew up eating. I will be coming back very soon to get more. The Pepperoni pizza was the best and the binets we're fantastic and fresh as well
Excellent pizza, but also the owner and other staffs were very pleased to help me choosing pizza.
Delicious crust and excellent white and traditional pizza. Best pizza on the north side.
The pizza here was freaking delicious! We got a 20" pepperoni and were very impressed with the taste. We also got the garlic knots but those weren't as good, there was too much butter and not enough garlic. But who cares about the garlic knots when the pizza is this good? Forget all those other pizza places in Chicago! This one is the best!
As a NYC transplant, I almost cried when I had a slice of Jimmy’s! We order and pick up from here at least once a month. Fantastic sauce, perfectly chewy crust, it’s the best pizza we’ve had in Chicago!! We’re huge fans, worth the 1 hour round trip just to get some Jimmy’s!
Excellent pizza at this tiny spot. They do a very brush delivery and carry out business, which is great because there are only a few tables. You can get a whole pie or just a slice from what they have already cooked. The slides are New York style and size, which means they're big. The beignets are also awesome. Highly recommended spot if you like pizza.
I love this pizza. And nice employees
Good pizza. But you would think in a Covid world (and in particular this is about an older Spanish lady who I assume was the owner? Or someone close to the business owners because she was very relaxed not even eatting) that she would be wearing a mask inside and not letting her dog jump on customers that walk in.
